Fiesta El Mercado

Viva La El Mercado.... fun night at the park down the street from my folks... we took our sweet H with us and the hit of the day for all of us was probably the petting zoo!!! We couldn't drag my niece out of there and i inquired about purchasing a miniature goat, which by the way do not get any bigger than what she is holding in the picture... soo tempting. As always being together as a family is so much fun, the fact that we had my Dad with us was a huge deal as he normally does not like going to things like this. Great job Dad! Hope you enjoy a few of the sights from the evening. We have had a very,very,busy week or two and having H with us has been a real treat, we have done way more than we normally do having her around so it's been good for us to enjoy things we wouldn't normally do otherwise.
My Mom made the most delicious appetizers before we went down and Shels and I grabbed some Fiesta Faire consisting of cheese enchiladas, beans and rice, we ate them so fast I didn't get a picture! There were millions of colorful confetti eggs, tasty desserts, loud music and children everywhere and the atmosphere was definitely about family and alot of laughter. Tonite we go to the Rodeo!!! haven't done that since the kids were little. It's our date night for my husband and I so I am real excited, going to go dust off my boots :) grab my cowboy hat and head out the door. Hope you are all having a great weekend!
